GuideLines For The Student


PLACEMENT CELL

A centralized cell has been established by the AISECT, our parent body with an objective to provide information and guidance to the students about opportunities of jobs in industries / business houses / educational / institutions / organizations / private / public sector companies and to build capability for the self-employment potential. The placement officer communicates with students and interacts with them directly at the time of their counseling and in classes. Many of the students of our college have been made a place for themselves in a number of leading firms throughout the country. Some of them also joined Institutes for higher studies.


DISCIPLINE AND PROHIBITORY ACTIVITIES
  • • Students should maintain discipline in class as well as within the college campus
  • • Use of Mobile Phone is strictly prohibited in the college failing which student will be fined
  • • Students must always keep their Identity Card with them in the college campus.
  • • Students should read the notice board regularly to keep themselves update on day to day events of the college.
  • • No excursion, picnic, party, meeting or any other get together can be organized without prior permission of the principal. When an application for permission is submitted, it will be pre-sumed that the students have taken permission from par-ents/guardian to join the party.
  • • In all disciplinary matters the decision of the principal of the college will be final.
  • • 75% attendance is compulsory for all those students who have applied for Scholarship.

Ragging

AISECT College is a ragging-free campus. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and would attract disciplinary action and the punishment of expulsion from college. Ragging has been defined as : “Any act causing, inducing, compelling or forcing a student, whether by way of a practical joke or otherwise, to do any act which detracts from human dignity or violates his per-son or exposes him to ridicule or forbears from doing any lawful act, by intimidating, wrongfully restraining, wrongfully confining, or injuring him or by using criminal force to him or by holding out to him any threat of such intimidation, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, injury or the use of criminal force” So ragging is strictly prohibited and is a punishable crime. Students are advised to maintain discipline in the campus. We abide by zero tolerance policy of the state Govern-ment.


ASSIGNMENTS / TESTS / PROJECTS FOR CONTINUOUS EVALUATION (CCE)

All the courses are of yearly wise . During the period of programme, assignment / tests / presentations will be given to the students for continuous self-study and improvement. These assignments/tests/projects will serve as feedback and will be counted towards the internal assessment in each paper.


TERM-END EXAMINATION
  • • College will conduct pre-university examinations before the commencement of term-end examinations. Pre-University and Term-End Examination are compulsory for every students.
  • • DAVV, Indore will organize the examination at various centers of Khandwa.
  • • Date of examination along with the examination center will be notified by the University and will be displayed at the college notice board.
  • • The medium of examination will be English/Hindi as chosen by the students.
  • • Admission card for the examination have to be collected by the student itself from the college.
  • • Admissions card for the examination will only be issued to those students who have paid their all kinds of dues.
  • • College will not be responsible for the Revaluation and Re-Totaling of the Term-End Examination. Students themselves have to contact University for the concerned work.
